The Competitive AR15: the ultimate technical guide: PROJECT RIFLES

PROJECT RIFLES

The very best way to discuss everything from problems to solutions to possibilities, and answer every question I could think of, was to build AR15s! So I did. A lot of them. Planning and then producing my versions of the "ULTIMATE" AR15 rifle let me show you what matters.

PROJECT RIFLES
Folks, if it's not on one of these rifles I didn't want it, or it didn't exist. Each of my "ultimate" project rifles represents a collection of what I thought was the best of the best, and that includes builders as well as components. Each is different, of course, but each also was conceived and constructed to maximize the AR15 platform performance in different venues, and a big part of that is getting around weaknesses and problems encountered by others. Also part of this book is a full-custom build on a Big-Chassis rifle.

NRA Service Rifle:
"thing one and thing two"

Making up all these rifles was not only rewarding but more informative than I ever imagined. When we're setting out to produce an "ultimate" it's amazing how many things tend to get in the way! Working around them, through them, and getting past them taught me a lot. Not everything works as planned, not all components work together, and some ideas aren't all they first appear to be.

The results speak for themselves. Well, I actually speak the results to you, to the tune of a huge number of pages in this new book. Check out all these efforts before deciding on the build sheet for your next project. By the way, build sheets, technical specs, and project costs are included for each of the ONE DOZEN rifles tackled for this book.
