not a book on "reloading," and it's sho not a
step-by-step on "how to load ammunition." What it
is, is a book on ammunition performance. The loaded
round is a part of a system that includes the
rifle, the course of fire, and, of course, the
shooter.
Detailing
each process and problem actually was the easy
part, and, rest assured, that does make
Handloading For Competition a book on
reloading, and also a step-by-step guide to
assembling a high-quality round of ammunition.
Stopping there, however, sells the book short --
well short -- and doesn't do the reader the service
we intended.
Handloading
for Competition met its goal. It's probably
best to download the section Contents pages and
look over them to get an idea of what's in this
book, and how it's presented. The bottom line is
that Handloading For Competition, taken in
full, will give anyone interested in competitive
rifle shooting a whole lot to learn, and a whole
lot more to think about.
