Note
from the Publisher
We are proud of all
our publications, but none more so than this series
with David Tubb. I will tell everyone and anyone
that we do a good job on our work and that our work
is always the best we can deliver. I am, though, by
nature a little less apt to go on about claims for
its effectiveness. But I've been watching scores at
Camp Perry, and elsewhere, over the past several
years and I've seen them go up. When David won his
first four or five titles there, it was him and two
or three others making the run. Now there are more
running on the same lap at the finish line.
Considering the eclectic experience levels at Camp
Perry I don't know that all score averages have
gone up, but I can say that those shooting in the
ninety-plus percentile have increased in number. I
sincerely believe that Highpower Rifle did some
folks some serious good, and, as is obvious through
that statement, I believe that the book played a
part in increasing many people's averages. I will
say without a doubt that the availability of that
book made it worlds easier for anyone to step in
and immediately gain a level of knowledge that,
prior to its publication, was unavailable in
published form. We did a book years ago with Brian
Enos on practical shooting and got the comment from
Todd Jarrett, who went on from the point of this
comment to win a gigabyte of championships, that
the book "saved me three years..." That's a
wonderful feeling, especially coming from someone
who was already, on his own, capable and destined
to win big. I will tell you, however, that
Highpower Rifle didn't save me three years. It
saved me a lifetime.
